Daily Bathroom Cleaning Schedule
The idea is to have a plan that you follow, it only takes a few minutes at a time, and by doing this all the time you will have a clean bathroom that is company ready without having to panic.
It’s not about spending 30 -40 minutes per day, it’s more about after you have used the sink, wiping it out. If you have a shower clean it before you leave the shower.
All these tasks will become second nature and you will notice that your bathroom looks clean with minimal effort on your part.
You will be cleaning the bathroom daily but you won’t be doing a full bathroom clean.

Resources You Might Need To Clean Your Bathroom
There are so many products that you can buy for bathroom cleaning I thought I would share my list of must-have items.
Clean As You Go
I like the concept of cleaning as you go because I hate getting to the end of a task and there is a mountain of things I need to do.
If I take action as I am doing something that makes the clean-up process easier I am there.
So, for example, if you are going for a bath, don’t drop your dirty laundry on the floor, pick it up and put it away in the laundry basket, before you get in the bath.
You can use this process in all your activities during the day. If you are cooking your evening meal, wash up the pots and pans or put them in the dishwasher as you use each one.
This will keep the kitchen looking tidy and it won’t be so difficult to tidy up after you have finished your meal.
So, do this process in your bathroom too, use the bathroom, and clean the area you used before you leave.
Wipe Counters Daily
Keeping any surface in your bathroom clean is going to help you keep it under control.
You can’t wipe the counter down if you haven’t put items away.
Keeping your counters clean and purposely wiping them down daily will not only keep them clean but will keep them clear too.
Keep a cloth and cleaning solution close at hand so it’s not difficult to grab the cloth, spray the product and wipe it down.
I like to use an E-cloth, this means I don’t need any cleaning solution, just water and it’s clean.
Disinfect And Clean Toilet
Your toilet is so important, nearly everyone needs to use a toilet, and having one that is clean and smells fresh is key.
If you don’t like to use a cloth to clean the toilet use toilet paper.
Did you know that cloths that have silver infused with them have anti-bacterial properties? Silver is a natural product that inhibits germs and bacteria from growing.
So, using a cloth that is infused with silver will mean that when it comes to cleaning the toilet the germs aren’t going to attach themselves to the cloth meaning it isn’t as gross using a cloth to clean the toilet.
I use a silicon toilet brush, you can see that it’s clean when you have used it, and it’s perfect for getting the toilet clean.
The only place that I use cheap bleach is down the toilet, it’s quick and easy and I know it’s killing the germs and bacteria that live in the loo.
Wipe And Clean Your Sink
Your sink, if it’s anything like mine will get a lot of use.
You want to make sure that you are keeping it looking clean and nice but also you want to make sure that you are killing any germs or bacteria that might be lurking there.
There is nothing worse than going to wash your hands when the sink is dirty, so keep your sink clean and dry after each time you use the sink.
If you are using an Ecloth, you don’t need any product, just water and it will get the germs and the bacteria out of the sink.
At the end of each day, replace the cleaning cloth with a fresh one, the same as what you would do in the kitchen too.
Remove Moisture From Your Bathroom
Mold loves the damp areas of your home and for this reason, you want to ensure that when it comes to steam and any other form of moisture you are taking it seriously and getting it dry before you leave the room.
After you take a shower wipe down the walls in the shower cubicle and the shower door if you have one. Use a squeegee to get rid of the water on the walls and glass screen door.
If you have a shower curtain, pull it open so it can dry and not go moldy.
If you have a bath, dry the bath before you leave and if you don’t have an extractor then you need to open the window.
Moisture causes mold and this won’t make guests feel comfortable using your bathroom.
Empty The Trash Daily
This is something that most people forget to do as it’s a place that you might forget to look.
The trash can in the bathroom is often small and it will need emptying more, checking it daily will help to reinforce that this needs to be done regularly so that when guests visit and need to put something in the trash can they are not grossed out by what’s already there.
It’s surprising how such a small bin can smell, often the bathroom is a warm room and this means any content in the trash can it will smell and this is going to be off-putting not just for your guests but you too.
Straighten The Bathroom Before Going To Bed
The best time to reset the bathroom is when you leave it at night before getting into bed.
Why do it then? So. when you wake up in the morning you have a clean bathroom to use and it will feel good.
Put out fresh towels, and make sure the sink is clean and the shower is dry.
Even wipe down the countertops and put anything that’s been left out away, so when you walk into the bathroom in the morning it’s clean and fresh for the day ahead.
