Why Is The Planner Pad So Good?
Are you struggling to get things done? Do you know how to put your ideas into action and move forward with your dreams? I want to introduce you to an amazing product; the Planner Pad is an amazing tool for helping you organize your day.
This is no ordinary paper planner. This is something amazing, yes you have to work the system but when you get the hang of it the transformations start to happen, and you start to see progress.
This is something that I need to see, a visual reminder that I am getting things done always helps to give me the boost I need.

This is my honest review of the Planner Pad; I was gifted a free copy but this is my own thoughts about the product.
It’s a planner that you use on a daily basis, it helps you plan what you need to do and when you are going to do it.
It’s a complete system for working out the most important tasks and getting them done.

How The Planner Pad Differs
The layout is unique, you get two pages for one week but you funnel down what you need to do so you can see the time you have and the tasks you need to complete.
You see the week in full and while that’s not unique the layout is. You highlight your appointments by putting them in the bottom section of the planner.
This allows you to see at a glance what appointments you have coming up, and lets you plan your week more smoothly.
Each month comes with a planner monthly spread, ideal for helping you plan out a full month in advance.

My First Impression Of The Planner Pad
The planner pad is of great quality with thick paper, and I have the spiral executive 8.5 x 11-inch bound version. The quality of the product shines through and the whole planner is light.
I’ve seen some planners that are heavy and awkward to carry around, but I haven’t found that to be the case with this planner.
I know I don’t tend to carry my planner much as I work from home, but I have found that even carrying it around from room to room it’s light and not awkward.
I love its simplicity of design with the monthly planner pages and the weekly planner pad.

The Variations Of The Planner Pad
The size of the planner is varied depending on what you like, you can also have loose-leaf pages if you wanted to have your own binder that you re-use each year or spiral bound, which is the option I picked.
The planner comes in dated and un-dated versions, I think the choice is amazing, but you are getting the system that works and is easy to use.
There are extras that you can add to the planner pad, if you have the spiral bound option you can still have the add-ons as they fit into the spirals and hold securely in place.
- Monthly tabs (these are not included normally but I would use them as it makes flipping through the planner easier.
- Day placement marker makes finding the day easier when you are opening and closing the planner multiple times in the day.

How Is The Planner So Good?
I think the most important part of the planner is the system that it helps you create, when you have a system you have a way to tackle the to-do’s and they start getting done.
It’s important to understand how the planner works and I think there is no better introduction to the Planner Pad than the video they have created, you can watch it below.
Once you know that the system is working, you just need to keep working the system. This is the most important part of a planner, you have to use it every single day, it has to become an important part of your day.
How To Make The Planner Work?
The planner relies on you using and working the system, funneling down the tasks you need to do and when you can do them. It’s simple but an effective system that works.
It teaches you to see the time you have available and to work out a plan for your day, you quickly become more organized and able to plan a routine with ease, because you can see what you need to do and what you already have planned.

What Makes The Planner Pad So Good
The idea behind this planner is the way you plan. The most important part is the tactical planning that you do before you even start looking at your week.
As something comes up you put these into your top categories so you can filter them down into the days or place them on the day they need to be completed.
You no longer need sticky notes covering your desk, planner and anywhere else you stick them, you can give up the lists filling up endless pads, it’s all there in front of you ready for you to tackle.

How It Works
You put in all the tasks that you need to do under different headings at the top. These are set by you; it depends on what you need to do in any week or if you are splitting the planner between home and work.
I’ve been trying out different headings to see what works well for me.
Currently, my headings reflect my business and one for home, there is less for me to do at home at the moment and this makes it easier for me.
Under the heading list all the tasks you need to do that week.
Filter these tasks into the days of the week, you only have a set amount of time, you can’t do everything!
When You Don’t Finish A Task
The planner video suggests that you don’t need to keep writing out tasks that you don’t finish each week. Leaving the top right corner of the planner intact indicates that there are unfinished tasks. Once you’ve done everything from that page, snip the corner and you will know you are good to go.
However, I like to rewrite my tasks, because if I have to keep writing it for more than a week or two I need to look at that task and either get it done or see why I haven’t tackled it yet and actually make progress or bin it completely.

Why I like To Write Stuff Down
I know there are a lot of people who don’t want the pain of writing things down in a planner, but there is evidence to suggest that writing things down helps us to remember more things.
I know if I write something down and it’s out of my head, it frees up space and I don’t have a million things flying around my brain all day every day.
But most of the time I do remember the stuff I’ve written down compared to the things that are just floating around in my head!

Space To Write It Down
I’ve been using the Planner Pad for about 7 weeks and I haven’t found that I’ve run out of space to write things down.
I was concerned at the beginning that I wouldn’t have enough space but surprisingly there’s been enough space for all my notes I make on things I need to do or remember.
Long Term Planning
This is the section I’m struggling with the most, I can see what to do but I’m stuck with how to use it and to make it work.
The videos and information are lacking in this one section, but I’m determined to find out how this was intended to be used and to see if it’s something I can use in the future.
What If You Like Stickers And Colours?
The planner that I have is black, the outside is black and gold. There isn’t any color to the planner and while that’s perfectly fine and looks professional if you wanted to add color it would be simple to add stickers and color with the pens you use.
Planner stickers are really cheap to buy from places like Etsy and often if they are a small company you can often get them more personalized for you.
An alternative to stickers is stamping, you can use different color inks and designs and you can turn this planner into something fun and totally personal to you.
Other Planning Options
I’ve loved nearly everything about this planner and these are my honest thoughts about this planner pad review.
As with any planner you have to actually use it. This is the most important step with any planner.
They won’t help you organize your day or plan out your goals without actually opening the planner on a daily basis and taking the time to fill out the sections that you need to.
However, this system is amazing you really do start to see the goals and projects that you are working on actually take shape.
It’s one of the best planners and organizers I’ve had the pleasure to try, it helps you organize your daily routine and weekly plan, and I’m in love with it.
The quality of the Planner Pad is amazing, and I totally think it’s worth the money if you are prepared to actually use it to help you organize your time and life.
