The growing need to live in an eco-friendly way that doesn’t negatively impact the world around us is becoming something we should all strive for.
So when I find eco-friendly cleaning and organizing products that change the way we clean our homes I want to tell the world about them and how they can make a real difference in their day-to-day lives.
This can change the reasons for cleaning the home in ways that perhaps haven’t even crossed your mind at this point.
The idea that we can clean our homes and not contribute to plastic waste with bottles and refill cartridges that need to be discarded or recycled and not reused is a normal business model.
It means we need to buy the product again and again. But what if the refill pouches could be reused by the manufacturer and used again? How much of a difference would this make to the recycling of plastic in our homes?

Why Use Eco-Friendly Cleaning Products
I think my reasons behind why I am choosing more eco-friendly cleaning products is the fact that I’m not creating more waste that either needs to be recycled and isn’t or it’s damaging the health of my family and potentially the planet.
The fewer items that I am sending to the landfills the better it is for the planet and the future generations that will live here. I want to find sustainable cleaning products that work and aren’t harmful to me or my family.
What Makes A Product Eco-Friendly
Eco-friendly household cleaning products are safe to use and the company is doing more to tackle the pollution that potentially its products can create.
Not just the contents of the cleaning products but the way the products are received and the potential those packages have to end up in landfill sites. I’m looking for products and companies that take action to reduce the potential pollution problems from their packaging as well as their actual cleaning products.
Discover The Bower Collective Eco-Friendly Line-Up
What if I told you there is a company that produces cleaning products where the refill pouches are returned to be used again and again?
Let me introduce Bower Collective, they did send me some products to try but these are my thoughts on the products and company.
The products are made with the world in mind and when possible are made with natural ingredients.
This means the products are sustainable and are better for your health and the health of your home. The more chemicals we pump into our homes can impact our health, after all, some of these chemicals haven’t been around long enough to know the long-term health implications.
So, if you are using natural ingredients you are reducing the exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.
Check out the Bower Collective standards, this gives you so much information on their products and company ethos.
Discover Bower Collective Eco-Friendly Products
Let me introduce you to the Bower Collective:
- Multi-surface cleaning gel
- Bathroom cleaner
- Glass and mirror cleaner
- Toilet cleaner
- Limescale remover
- Glass or plastic re-useable dispensers
These products are amazing and I am impressed by how they work too.
But that’s not all there are laundry detergents, fabric softeners, and dishwashing liquid. Reusable cloths, compostable sponges, and even coconut scrubbers. Linen is a natural product and is perfect for drying dishes, so whilst there are many refillable products there are also some products that are by nature simple and safe for the environment too.
The Best Eco-Friendly Products To Try
I have been so impressed with the quality of the eco-friendly products for cleaning from Bower Collective that I have tried and the ability to send the packaging back to the company and for it to be reused for the product again and again.
Planet Friendly Products For Self-Care Too
But what if I were to tell you that there are products in this range that have been created for self-care too?
Natural products for your body too, with the same concept of refilling and reusing the poaches that hold the product for delivery to your home.
I love the way they have made my skin feel, I visibly noticed the difference in the soap and body wash that I now use. Even the antibacterial soap doesn’t dry out my skin like other similar soaps I have used.
The Refill Revolution For Eco-Friendly Cleaning And Organizing
The simple idea to have refillable refill pouches and supply the envelope to return these pouches included in every delivery is such an amazing idea but one that is going to mean more of the refill pouches are returned and reused.
Having the ability to reuse the plastic that is simply coming into our homes, refilling it, and reusing it is amazing.
It is simple to order, you can even subscribe and save, meaning the price goes down slightly and you get your favorite products on a set schedule and not when you completely run out.
Closing The Recycling Loop
Whilst the idea of recycling is important, many of our attempts to recycle are met with problems, and many items are just sent to landfills and not used in the recycling process.
Having recyclable poaches that are sent back to the manufacturer is amazing, they are cleaning and reusing the product saving the company money but also reducing the potential waste that they could be creating in the world.
This is a simple but easily managed solution to the growing number of recycling problems that are faced around the world daily.
Sustainable Home Environment
Making your home an example of being sustainable is important for our children to see that we are trying to do our part in creating a better world for them to live in.
A home that has sustainably reduced chemicals and continues to clean with products that are natural and work, alongside a company that cares about the world we live in with values that we can share is important.
