2. Vacuuming Packing Bags
To maximize your space under your bed a great option is vacuum bags. These are bags that you place the items in and then suck out the air. One word of warning, if you have pets and they go under the bed they can break the bags. My cat has done this to the vacuum bags I had!

The softness of fabric but with the ridged shape of a box. The prettiness of this fabric boxes is high. But you are limited with how much you can put in the box and still shut the lid. There are no catches to prevent the lid from being lifted whilst under the bed. And for me, it’s calling for spiders to get in and hide!

9. Lift Up Bed
A lift-up bed is going to give you the biggest space that you can see for organizing your under-bed storage. However, don’t get too excited. To keep this space organized and clutter-free you are going to need some sort of organizing storage too. Most of the time this under-bed storage goes directly onto your bedroom floor. It’s not an enclosed space but more of an easy access to what would normally be hidden.

How To Create A Streamlined Under Bed Space
When you want something that looks good and functions well you need to have a plan. One that highlights what you are storing and how you are going to store them.
What you use for storage is the key to making any under-bed storage work for you and look great.
Using containers that have a uniform look will make the area look great. Seeing inside with a window is helpful if you can’t find what you are looking for. However, some of these storage options won’t give a streamlined look.
How do I organize my storage under my bed?
The most important thing you need to do is have a list of what is under your bed. Also, labeling the storage containers with the contents.
The easiest way is to label everything. I use my label maker to make the labels to stick onto the container. I also have an inventory list of what is under the bed and the box they are in.
This list is stored in the family binder. It’s a great way to look for items without having to pull everything out.
There is nothing worse than pulling everything out from under the bed only to find that what you are looking for isn’t there.
How do I maximize my under-bed space?
Maximizing the space will require you to have a plan for what is going under the bed. Knowing when you will need an item, and if you are going to have easy access are important points to consider.
The items you won’t need must go in a box or a bag with a zip. They need to be placed in an area that isn’t easy to grab and farther away. Items you need more frequently are going into the middle area of your under-bed storage. This leaves a place for things that are needed daily that will go at the very edge of your bed.
It’s a bit like creating zones under your bed where you can place items depending on when you need them.
How do I keep my storage under my bed clean?
With this area being directly under your bed, there are going to be a lot of dust particles. If you are pulling things out and using them daily, maybe not so many.
If you don’t use the items daily then you must consider the covered options for storage. For example: bins with lids, and bags that are zipped up.
If you access items daily from under your bed, having a lid or zip might not be the best solution. It’s also going to become more difficult to maintain long-term.
