It is important that you live in a clean home; how clean can depend on each person, the amount they need to clean, and the time available to them. It is difficult to fit in life and all the commitments that you need to fulfil and still find time to clean.
It can easily become overwhelming as to the jobs that need doing to keep your home looking clean and tidy. Having help can make the task easier; if you have children, teaching them to help clean can teach them how important it is to maintain a clean home.
If you live alone or you have no help then it is important that you consider ways that you can tackle the jobs so they don’t become overwhelming and too difficult to complete.
Clean house daily check list
Having a list of tasks that you complete on a daily basis can help with organizing the cleaning tasks you need to do. It is easy to forget items and they quickly need even more attention to bring them back into line.
Some people need to do jobs more frequently than others; it just depends on the dynamic of your household. For me I need to hoover on a daily basis because I have a high shedding dog. I know other people who only need to vacuum on a weekly basis and this is fine if it meets their needs.
Therefore, identifying the daily tasks that you need to complete will be personal to you. It is important that you look at your home and assess the tasks that you need to do and then work them into a schedule.
The items you need to do daily must get written down until you have formed them into your daily routine, it can take a few weeks before remembering to do different tasks are automatic, just have patience.
Weekly house cleaning
There will be items that you need to do on a weekly basis and again it is great if you can write these down. It can give you a sense of accomplishment if you are able to cross off an item when you finish it, and it adds as a reminder to the jobs that you need to do.
It is possible that you are able to afford for someone to clean your home for you, it is a good idea to look at the areas that you would like them to concentrate on while they are in your home. There is nothing worse than wondering what someone has spent their time doing; if you provide a list of jobs then at least you know what you expect to be clean when you arrive home.
Whether you employ someone to clean or do the tasks yourself, it is important that you take pride in your home, it doesn’t have to be the biggest home in the street, it just needs to feel like home.
Therefore, if you keep on top of the jobs to keep your home looking clean it can make all the difference to how you feel when you walk through the front door.
