Bathroom Organization
It is important that you get the room which has the highest levels of humidity as simple as possible. This allows better organization but it also means that there is less to worry about getting damaged through high humidity.
What To Store In The Bathroom
While this is personal to the individual, there are also some practical points as to the reason certain items shouldn’t be stored in the bathroom.
It is important that you don’t store any make-up or medication in your bathroom. The high humidity will ruin the make-up and it will shorten the life of your medication, and potentially reduce its effectiveness.
Keeping the items to a minimum can help when you need to clean any room, it makes the process easier and less time-consuming. I hate to clean the bathroom, yet I hate to see it dirty. For this reason, the less items in it means less to clean.
I only keep the basics in the bathroom: towels, cleaning products, washing, and hygiene items. I am lucky that the toilet is in a separate room and thus preventing germs spreading around the bathroom, I am a bit of a germ freak so it helps to control my anxiety.
I am from the school of thought where bath towels get washed after every use, I know there are other people like me and other people who just dry them in between uses. It doesn’t matter so long as you have an area that will allow you to store the towels and allow easy access.

Bathroom Design
This is a personal approach, if you can change different aspects of the bathroom such as a new bath or sink, then it is important that you spend the time considering your options carefully. For me I am thinking about removing my bath all together, and just have a large shower cubical. I think the 11 years the bathroom has been there the bath has only been used a handful of times and it is a waste cleaning something that you don’t use, so when I get round to the bathroom remodel I am carefully considering the consequences of not putting a bath in.
Ventilation is vital in any bathroom, to avoid mould growing. The high humidity needs to escape and whilst in the summer it is fine to have the window open to let out the steam in the winter this can push out your heating too. An extractor is one alternative option; you can have a dehumidifier one that will pull out the moisture from the room.

The design and feel of your bathroom is personal and it needs to reflect you in some way and you can use colour options in towels and accessories, but for me, simple is the key, it then makes it easier to keep clean.
Therefore, if you get worried about your bathroom organization then you need to keep products and items to the minimum to ensure that it is easy to keep clean and clutter free.
