Using Organization Software
Having the ability to become organized in work as well as home is important and this is why many businesses have turned to software that will ensure everyone is on the same page.
There are different applications which are available and many of them are free, up to a certain point. They allow companies to communicate effectively and in a new and exciting manner, where they are able to work together to ensure completion of a project; it allows colleagues to communicate on a new level and can work really well in a business setting.
There are some basic organization software programmes you can use that claim to help organization within your business. Alternatively, some options are free, up to a certain point, often being the amount of employees using the system.
Some organization software options are not free and you need to pay for the service and they too work well; it is finding the right option and budget that meets your needs.
Organization software: Asana
For the free market up to 15 employees, this software is great. Created by one of the founders of Facebook, Dustin Moskovitz. He has taken the concept of creating an interface where groups of people can connect and work together to meet the common goal without the need for constant emails; it is there right in front of you keeping you in control of your business.
I got the recommendation for the product by a friend of mine, it works very well. It allows you to feel in control of a situation and allows communication between colleagues on projects and work issues. A fantastic software programme gives you the control you need, whilst looking and feeling professional at the same time. There is a way to synchronize with a current calendar and this can import business memos onto your personal calendar, making the process easier to work around family life.
However, as always there are restrictions. There are some aspects that I feel are clunky and odd, there is a need for a transition process and unless you are coming into the system when joining a company, apart from the training on the system, you need to input your business life on to the system and that can take time.
Other options
There are many options available and you could spend valuable time searching through different programmes looking for an option that suits you, from the paying project management sites with prices starting from $20 per month to the free options. It just depends on what you are looking for from project managing software, and how these programmes will meet your needs.
The benefits that they can bring to your business is important to consider; are they going to take more time to keep organized and up to date? Alternatively, they could be the answer you are looking for.
Therefore, it might be beneficial to consider a project management programme, or an organization software like Asana to keep you and your business on track with your current needs.
