My Gold City Ventures E-Printables Course Review

Thinking about selling printables on Etsy but not sure where to start? There’s a lot to learn, from coming up with printable ideas and creating your products to understanding Etsy and getting people to actually find what you’ve made.

That’s where the E-Printables Course by Gold City Ventures comes in. I took the course myself, so in this review I’m going to share my experience with it, what you actually get, and what I think you need to know before deciding whether it’s worth the investment.

Selling printables is just one of the ways you can build an income online, and like any business, it still takes time and work. I’m not here to tell you that you need this course to succeed. I want to give you the information, along with my own experience, so you can decide whether it’s the right fit for you.

My Experience With The Gold City Ventures E-Printables Course

I was given access to the E-Printables Course and the VIP membership as part of my relationship with Gold City Ventures as an affiliate, so I didn’t personally pay for the course.

I worked through most of the course when I first got access, although I didn’t follow every lesson in order. Having had experience using Canva and creating digital products, so I tended to jump around and concentrate on the lessons that covered things I didn’t already know.

My Etsy shop: I never actually opened an Etsy shop. Instead, I used what I learned to help me create printables and digital products for the shop attached to my own website. So while my experience isn’t the same as someone starting from scratch and using the course specifically to build an Etsy shop, I have used what the course taught me to create products for my own business.

One thing that’s worth knowing is that the course has changed a lot since I originally went through it. There is far more inside it now, and I’m going back through the current training as I update this review so that I’m not judging today’s course entirely on the version I originally completed.

I also want to be clear that taking a course doesn’t guarantee you’ll make money selling printables. You still have to take what you learn, create the products and put the work into selling them.

What Is The E-Printables Course

The E-Printables Course from Gold City Ventures is designed to teach you how to create digital printables and sell them through an Etsy shop.

Julie and Cody take you through the process from the beginning, including choosing a niche, finding ideas for printables people might want to buy, creating your products and getting them ready to sell.

The course also covers setting up an Etsy shop and the different parts of running it once it’s open, including topics such as keywords, listings, marketing and growing your shop.

You don’t need to have experience creating digital products before you start. However, if you already know your way around tools such as Canva, as I did, you may find that some parts of the course are more familiar than others.

What’s Included in the E-Printables Course?

The E-Printables Course covers the process of creating a printable business, from coming up with your first product idea through to listing and marketing your products on Etsy.

What the E-Printables Course Teaches

The training covers areas including:

• Finding ideas for printables and deciding what you want to sell.
• Creating printables and templates using Canva.
• Preparing and packaging your digital products.
• Creating images and listings for your Etsy products.
• Keyword research and Etsy SEO.
• Marketing your products and bringing traffic to your listings.
• Setting up and optimizing your Etsy shop.
• Using the Etsy Sellers App to help manage your shop.

There is a lot more inside the course now than when I originally went through it, which is one of the reasons I’m revisiting the training as I update this review.

Support and Community

The course isn’t just the lessons. New students currently receive 30 days of access to the VIP E-Printables membership, which includes additional support and access to the VIP Facebook community.

If you remain a VIP member and reach 100 sales on Etsy, you can join the Gold City Ventures 100 Sales Club. At that point, you receive complimentary access to the VIP Facebook Group and VIP Membership Vault.

How Much Does the E-Printables Course Cost?

The E-Printables Course currently costs $197 if you pay in full. There is also a payment plan of five monthly payments of $49, which works out at $245 in total.

Your purchase also includes 30 days of free access to the VIP Membership. After the free period, the VIP Membership costs $29 per month if you decide to continue.

The VIP Membership is optional, so you don’t have to keep paying for it to retain access to the course. If you cancel the membership, you still keep access to the E-Printables Course.

For those who do continue with VIP, Gold City Ventures also has a 100 Sales Club. If you remain a member until you reach 100 Etsy sales, you qualify for free VIP Membership.

Is This Etsy Printables Course Right For You?

The E-Printables Course is aimed at people who want to learn how to create digital printables and sell them on Etsy. You don’t need to already know how to make printables or have experience running an Etsy shop because the course starts with the basics.

However, I think it’s important to be realistic about what you’re signing up for. This isn’t a quick way to make money. You’ll need time to work through the training, create your products, set up your shop and learn what works for you.

The course could be a good fit if you:

• Want a structured way to learn rather than trying to piece everything together yourself.
• Are new to creating digital products or selling on Etsy.

• Like having training and support available when you get stuck.
• Understand that creating the products is only part of the work involved in building an Etsy shop.

Who the E-Printables Course Is Not For

I would think carefully before investing in the course if you:

• Need to make money immediately.
• Are expecting printables to provide passive income without continuing to work on your products and shop.
• Don’t have the time to work through the training and actually put it into practice.
• Already have plenty of experience creating digital products, running an Etsy shop and understanding how Etsy works.

I also wouldn’t buy the course simply because you’re hoping there’s a shortcut to guaranteed sales. The training can show you what to do, but you still have to build the business yourself.

How Long Does The E-Printables Course Take To Complete?

There isn’t a set amount of time you need to complete the E-Printables Course because you can work through the training at your own pace.

How long it takes you will depend on how much time you have available and how much of the training is new to you. If you’re completely new to creating printables, Canva and Etsy, you’ll probably spend longer working through the lessons than someone who already has experience in some of those areas.

I didn’t work through every lesson in order. Because I already knew how to use Canva and had experience creating digital products, I skipped around and concentrated more on the areas that were new to me.

If you’re fitting the course around work or family life, I’d treat it as something you work through gradually rather than feeling as though you need to rush to finish it.

Do You Need a Course to Start Selling Printables on Etsy?

No, you don’t need to take a course to start selling printables on Etsy. There is plenty of information available online, and you can learn how to create digital products, set up an Etsy shop and market your products yourself.

Where a course can help is by bringing that information together and giving you a structure to follow. Instead of trying to work out what you need to learn next, you have the training laid out for you and somewhere to go when you need help.

For me, some parts of the E-Printables Course covered things I already knew, particularly around Canva and creating digital products. Other parts gave me knowledge that I could take away and use in my own business, even though I chose not to open an Etsy shop.

Whether that’s worth paying for will depend on how much you already know, how comfortable you are learning things yourself and whether having a structured course and support would make the process easier for you.

Is the Gold City Ventures E-Printables Course Worth It?

Whether the E-Printables Course is worth $197 will depend on what you already know and what kind of support you’re looking for.

If you’re completely new to creating digital products and selling on Etsy, there is a lot of information inside the course. It takes you through the process in a structured way, rather than leaving you to work out what you need to learn and in what order.

If you already have experience with Canva, digital products or Etsy, some of the training may cover things you already know. That was certainly the case for me, which is why I skipped around rather than completing every lesson in order.

I didn’t go on to open an Etsy shop, so I can’t tell you that I followed the course from beginning to end and built a successful Etsy business from it. What I can tell you is that I used what I learned to create printables and digital products for my own business, so the course has been useful to me even though I took a different route.

I also think it’s important to look at the cost realistically. You don’t need to buy a course to start selling printables, and spending $197 doesn’t guarantee that you’ll make that money back. What you’re paying for is the training, structure and support that can make learning the process easier.

Is Gold City Ventures Legit?

Yes, Gold City Ventures is a legitimate company, and I have worked with Julie and Cody for several years as an affiliate.

I’ve also had access to the E-Printables Course and the membership, so my experience with Gold City Ventures isn’t based solely on what I’ve read on their website. I’ve used their training myself and have created printables using what I’ve learned.

That doesn’t mean that buying the course guarantees you’ll make money from selling printables. Your results will depend on what you create, the work you put into your business and whether you’re able to find customers for your products.
