    Great advice! I have been budgeting since the age of 11, when I went to boarding school, and although it has not always been plain sailing, I still check my bank accounts every morning and balance the accounts to the last penny. i even keep a running total of cash in my wallet.

  7. We’ve been budgeting the Dave Ramsey way – every dollar is assigned. I love it. It’s so simple and helps keep you accountable.

  8. We budget by making sure we have our bills listed out and scheduled. My husband just joined his work’s savings program. We need to do better in this area. It takes discipline. Thanks for sharing.

  12. This is all such great advice, and just what I needed to hear at this point….I’m not the best at keeping my blog financials current. It’s honestly a big mess…..my spreadsheet is all out of whack! But it’s just something that’s gotta be done….nuts! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at Merry Monday!
