  1. My favorite part of Halloween has always been staying home and handing out candy…I love seeing the little kids and all of the different costumes. I don’t think I have ever had anyone ask for money….I think that is a little shocking!!! Happy Halloween!!

  2. Happy Halloween! Like you, I’ve always viewed Halloween as the unofficial beginning of fall. It does seem like a time of transition from back to school time into a season of gratitude in November and then straight on to Christmas! At least that’s what the retailers want us to be thinking about, right? 😉

  3. Hi Beth, I thought it was shocking too but that was the trend started a few years ago by some older children in my area and I think it put some of the older people off from answering the door to the children who are genuine.
