  1. You have some great points here. My husband has retired, and he did well at planning. But it was a scrimp and save and work extra hours kind of thing. We knew we had to save for retirement, but things seem to always pop up discussed as emergencies. Starting early is a great advantage, but usually when we are younger we’re not thinking of retirement. 🙂
